Calibration Tool (BT-1)

The Calibration Tool for BT-1 is a modular tool that converts into a Ground Plane and a Wand. Mini Beacons are placed on the magnetic mounts and emit infrared pulses that BTSensors see and for the BTSystem to generate a measurement point for calibration.

Notes:

• Wand Calibration: On the Calibration tab of the Camera Calibration window in Motive, set the Wand Length (mm) field to 500 and Center Distance (mm) field to 175 before you start wanding. See Calibrating a BTSensor for more information.
• Ground Plane: Use the thumb screws to level the Ground Plane.
• Dial: Use the Dial wheel carefully when loosening or tightening the modules. Avoid over-tightening.
